Amazing staff, honest people and they really give their best. A big shout out to Krishna, Chetan ,Panda and others whose names I forgot. Make sure you ask for a driver the moment you get there because the roads are really bumpy , broken and uphill , you'll definitely need a local driver to go around.

The Cedar Inn is more than a hotel, it is a place where hospitality and respect for local culture meet with tradition. The athmosphere is reflecting the fact that all revenues are used for charitable purposes by fostering the buddhist community. Breakfast and dinner buffet (with live piano music) are excellent and highly varied. Service staff and management are extremely polite and helpful. The setting is colonial style - keeping up the tradition of Darjeeling. It is the only hotel with colonial style in Darjeeling that has such fantastic view on the Kangchenjunga and such a quiet surrounding. The buddhist spirituality is reflected in several details, e.g. minor rituals and the decoration. We will come back to this hotel whenever we will go to Darjeeling.

I stayed at Grand Casa for a day and honestly the stay was brilliant. If you’re looking for some peace and isolation, this is the place. The only thing is it’s a bit away from Mall Road, but trust me it’s totally worth it. They serve proper homely food and it was super tasty. I was lucky the weather was clear and I got the full view of Kanchenjunga right from the balcony. The room was also really spacious. Definitely a memorable stay.

The place is cozy and comfortable. Inn location is great, near to zoo- HMI- Museum, Mall Road. The owner and staffs are very kind and helpful. They made sure that the stay is comfortable, even arranged cab facilities for pick and drop and sightseeing with reasonable pricing. Great coordination from end to end!

    The resort was very beautiful and have mesmerizing view of Kanchanjungha at early morning. It's very well decorated and have a beautiful garden with lots of colorful flowers. Kids will enjoy the stay because of the fish pond, real rabbit and foot bridge etc. Rooms are also good and clean.

    The common and living spaces were like that in a 5 star hotel! The staff was wonderful and the place gets full points for cleanliness and maintenance. The food was good too. This is simply an extremely high quality accommodation in a relatively affordable range.

    When I asked about Airport transfer, I was given one contact of driver named Pranay. We feel lucky to get a driver like him, it is quite rare to find such well behaved, expert driver like him. He made our travel hassle free and very enjoyable. Moreover, everyone of the resort were quite professional, very helpful and well behaved. We stayed in one family suite at the top floor, the view of Kanchenjunga from the balcony was the best comparing to other view points in Namchi at least.
