I hardly ever write a review, but our 3-day stay at Bundeli Kothi warrants a positive exception. Me and my wife truly loved it. Whilst the building is very modern and may therefore appear somewhat 'non-Indian', it is situated in a very attractive agricultural area, with a small hamlet just around the corner (see the pictures of the doors, as an example), and very kind people, all of which will enrich your India experience. We enjoyed dinner at the Bundeli Kothi and each time it was delicious. The modern kitchen is spotlessly clean and if you like, you can watch how Indian dishes are prepared (or even participate). Orchha is a mere 15 minute drive away

Very well situated in a calm environment Very friendly family, we get at least 10 good mornings in the morning. Very cute babies and baby goats =) the children are eager to talk to you in English We get to learn to cook chapatis The "manager?" Of the place is extremely helpful for everything! And even booked onward train tickets for us. I loved the mattress which is homemade and We had a quilt!!! And clean sheets !! Hot water available upon request.

It is a clean, comfortable and nice place, run by a lovely family. Good wifi, hot water all the time, delicious food, great attention from the owner and his children. The wife cooks very well and she also helps in the near govt. kindergarden (in case you want to donate some school material)

The Chandera Kothi is being lead by exceptionally friendly staff and is surrounded by beautiful nature. We were able to enjoy evening talks with the owner Madhur who also provided us with helpful information regarding our upcoming travels. Further, the rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. You are also able to enjoy freshly cooked local dinner for 1,000 Rs/p.P. and breakfast for 500 Rs/p.P.. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Chandera Kothi and can safely recommend it to any travellers who want to enjoy the calm surroundings of Orchha!

I like the behaviour of the staff very much. Rooms are spacious and the resort is really good with all amenities. Best place to stay with family. There is ample space for children to play . We are very happy to spend our holiday in this resort. Location of the resort is very good. The food is soo tasty 😋
