Its a newly established hostel which was suggested to me by another friend of mine! I was a little apprehensive about trying out a new place while in India! But gosh...I was so pleasantly surprised and my apprehensions were proven wrong! This place is different. The people, their warmth, humility, professionalism and the atmosphere they create...is a breath of fresh air. Having experienced countless hostels around the world, I think this place deserves the praises! Ritu, at the front desk, made me feel so welcome! Ranaji, as he likes to be called, is fun and I enjoyed jamming with him in the cafe...Anuj looks stern but once you speak to him, he is fun...he ensures the hostel operates flawlessly. All these people make it a safe haven for solo women travellers! Stayed only for one night this time but I'm definitely coming back here soon! I'll have more to write then. Hasta Luego Amigos. Volveré seguro! God speed.

The room was extremely comfortable, everything was incredibly clean and in good order. The bed was super comfortable and I had a great sleep. The staff were exceptional- very attentive and genuinely considerate and did everything to make my stay perfect. Delicious food and a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. Shiv Shakti is a beautiful place. It is a little off road, which for us is great as it meant a quieter space. Ram and his family were so welcoming and helpful throughout the stay. The rooms are clean and comfy, the garden and the hang out space are peaceful. We particularly enjoyed the morning yoga too. This is a great place if you like nature, and quiet mornings to meditate and watch the sunlight slowly fill the valley.

I had a very pleasant stay here. The room was clean and comfortable, and it even came with a radiator, which is very much needed in the winter months. The location was also very good, close to pretty much everything, and with plenty of nice restaurants nearby. But the very best about my stay here was the staff. Everyone was so welcoming, friendly and accommodating. They went above and beyond to ensure I had a great time there, and were always available.

Indian Culture Hostel is perfect to stay if you travel from Rishikesh in some others directions, as well as just to stay and have a yoga class etc., nearby many yoga schools, very nice cafés. Thnx friendly staff there for my comfort staying in, I really appreciated it. Nice room with clean modern bathroom design&nice shower. Small patio with flowers. Fabulous.

The check-in process was very smooth and reception staff (Mr. Anand and Suraj) were very kind and polite. The hotel is located in close proximity to the ganges and there are a variety of eating options around the hotel. The hotel restuarant serves delicious food as well. Service is prompt and the all rooms are well equipped and tidy.
