Exceptional place in a peaceful location off the beaten path. Cozy rooms with modern amenities, including a fantastic bed and shower. The host was kind and attentive, and even went out of her way to get us some ice from her neighbor. The breakfast was our favorite of the whole trip, especially the homemade waffles! We can't wait to return next time we visit Iceland.

We really appreciate that our host have been waiting for us, nevertheless we were late for the checkin, they were so nice and friendly. The house is very clean, comfortable, warm and there is everything you need.

One of the cutest places we stayed during our tour. We had a little balcony were we made our breakfast and dinner. The room has a microwave, a toaster and a mini fridge. We absolutely love it. On top of that, the host took his time to show us where to go for the rest of our tour and gave us a map of the peninsula. We also got to see the Northern Lights which was an amazing experience.

Facing the seafront in Búðardalur, The Castle features a garden and barbecue facilities. The property has sea and mountain views.

Isabelle and Marat are exemplary hosts and couldn’t have been more charming. The suite itself was exceptional in design and comfort and a great deal of thought had gone into the detail - beautiful linens and robes, well equipped kitchen and my favourite Skandinavisk toiletries. After some quite energetic salmon fishing it was wonderful to wind down at this wonderful suite, easing tired limbs in the sauna (with exceptional views) and falling into the most comfortable bed to dream about the lax! The house is set in a beautiful landscape. The facilities are luxury and the heated floors are a bonus. The hot tub was ready to use as soon as we arrived and the beds are super comfortable. This is truly home away from home and I highly recommend this house. We hope to be back here.

A beautiful and very modern cabin in a serene setting with almost no one around. Exceptional attention to detail with nothing left to chance. Excellent shower and bathroom. Very spacious, super modern even by hotel standards, with a really comfy bed. Top to bottom glass walls with beautiful views over the bay with seals (telescope included!) - watching them was great! Supermarket less than a 5 minute drive away. Hosts were wonderful. If you are the area and looking for peace and quiet, look no further - very highly recommended!

Location of cottage is amazing, we experienced strong aurora observation from terrace. Receptionist offer us snack instead of breakfast, because we had to leave very early to airport.

Found along Route 1, this modern property is 30 minutes’ drive from Borgarnes. Facilities include the 9-hole Gianni Golf Course. All rooms have a satellite TV and free WiFi.

The location was perfect, there is a volcanic crater within walking distance, and a fabulous lake very close giving spectacular views. The decor and welcome was lovely, Natalie and her partner treated us a special valued guests. Breakfast was perfect. We will definitely recommend to friends and family to stay here when in Iceland.
