GermanyIt was super remote at the foot of the mountains and Vatnajökull National Park which means that it’s only a 40 min drive to Diamon Beach and the Jökulsarlon Glaciers and there are a lot of other great sights in the area!
The apartment is small but cozy and very clean (modernized and renovated). There’s a little kitchen and fridge so you can bring food and cook and they have oil, coffee, tea, salt and pepper there for you to use free of charge.
We liked that there was no TV other distractions. Because it’s so remote we got beautiful shows of Northern Lights.
