Owners have done the "extra" mile here. It was the most welcooming experience in a hotel/room i ever had. They had thought of every need you may have. You can find anything you want in the house with instructions, from how to make your waffles (they offer you all the ingredients there with homemade jam) to musical instruments, to turn on the hot pool so that you find it ready when you go. Highly recommened. And the best location for northern lights, we just went out of the house and we saw the magical show of northern lights above us.

Our best accommodation in Iceland. It’s cozy, comfortable, clean, the view is stunning, the kitchenette equipped with all the necessities. There is a capsule coffee maker, a kettle, a toaster. The bed is very comfortable, the surrounding area beautiful and the walks to the beach stunning. We holed up in the cottage during a very rainy and snowy afternoon and could not have felt more cozy. We would definitely recommend staying here and want to again thank our hosts for creating and sharing such a lovely place!

We really enjoyed the calmness of pure nature and the Chalet which was not only bigger than all the other cottages in that area but also offered more than enough tools to feel at home within a few minutes. The host family is the cherry on top! Really welcoming and assist you in every way possible. You gotta try the fresh mountain tab water- better than Fiji or Voss! ;)

    the hotel is really nice, staff is kind, rearranged a triple room plus a cot bed for us kindly. we have dinner at the restaurant, the food was really good. room is spacious, clean, with kettle, shower gel and shampoo. the breakfast was also very good, a broad selection of food, my parents and children enjoyed well. kids also played pokemon go and found that the hotel was a boarding school before and refurbished into hotel later on, they enjoyed the swings and basketball field in front of the hotel

    Booked two rooms en route for my family whilst travelling the ring road clockwise. Large car park, good staff service, especially from Hilda. Good sized rooms, good choice of breakfast. Hotel is surrounded by fields, good for viewing northern lights, although we didn't see any during our stay.
