    This was probably my favorite of all the places we stayed at during our Iceland trip! The cottage is so cute and well equipped and the location is lovely. Dísa and her family were wonderful hosts and gave us great recommendations for where to go, and following her advice I booked a riding tour with Hestasport, which was really great. The horses and sheep on the farm are really cute and the dogs are so sweet!

    The host was a great communicator and even though we booked this knowing it was a shared bathroom turned out we had place to ourselves and host kindly upgraded us to the larger family room. Loved the heated flooring during winter time. Host also kindly pointed out when the northern lights were out which we otherwise would have missed.

    Peaceful and convenient location, right off the main road Host greeted us warmly (along with the family dog who was very cute and friendly!) Kitchen available, with a gas station down the road where you can buy ingredients for a simple breakfast

    We are family of 4 and stayed in a family room. it was a bit tight as there was a bunk bed to accommodate the whole family. although, it was ok for one night and we spent the rest of the time in the common area. the guest house was well equipped, including washing machine and a drier that was really a big plus after several days of travelling.

    Very friendly host and dog! Very pleasant cabin-style rooms, simple but functional and comfortable, nicer than the pictures show. Great private porch/seating area outside into the nature. Very thoughtful and appreciated small complimentary breakfast and coffee! Good value for money.

    The apartment is in an authentic horse farm. The family running the farm are very nice and hospitable. The apartment is very clean and spacious with a very well equipped kitchen. Nearby waterfall and natural hot spring are hidden gems. We loved how calm the place was.

    The best stay during our 12 day trip! We had the 2 bedroom apartment: spacious and perfect for family of four. Just like home… and the best view over The Valley. Great to relax and watch the landscape after rafting and horse riding with a cup of tea. Excellent hosts and you can book a breakfast with fresh homemade bread and pancakes… and lots more. Extra treat for kids: cute lambs!
