Our favorite stay while in Iceland. Very clean, well located, beautiful view and apartment. Only 10min drive from downtown Vik and any of the black sand beaches. Saw a lot of scam along the road (places we almost stayed at!!) but the black beach suites appartement was a lucky pick! Highly recommend.

This was an excellent place to stay very close to Vik and the famous Game of Thrones black beach (and also close to the Vik black beach of course). We got to see an amazing clear sky and the Northern lights during the night as well as a wonderful view through our window in the morning. The studios were great, equipped with everything we needed to cook our own meals, and they have complimentary tea and coffee. Definitely recommend staying there!

We had an amazing stay at this lovely cottage! It was perfectly clean, cozy, and beautifully designed, with everything we needed. The location is breathtaking and very peaceful. The staff is very helpful. They answered all the questions, they are very polite and they do their vest to help the guests. The hotel is the best one in Vik for sure and we will stay there during our next visit

Opened in July 2018, Hótel Kría is located in Vík. Among the various facilities are a garden and a bar. There is a restaurant. The black sand beaches begin about 5 minutes' walk from the hotel.
