This is easily the most beautiful place we have ever been, and it's not an overstatement. You have a breathtaking view of the sea from the terrace - if you just sit there all day long, it's already worth the price. The place is spacious and super clean. The coast is a ten-minute walk, and you get to see a different Trieste - people chilling on the beach, enjoying a feeling of togetherness. Raffaella is an amazing hostess - while giving you absolute privacy, she also provides valuable insights about the neighborhood with a truly Italian friendliness. She certainly makes you feel at home. Absolutely recommended!

Casa Contovello is a beautiful three story house with old wooden beams restored, it has a new modern kitchen and comfortable beds. The house is located in a small village on the Mountain side. If you are not driving Trieste city centre can be reached easily by buses that leave a stop about three minutes walk from the property. There is a beautiful walk down to Miramar Castle and you can also access the beach to cool off on Sunny days via this walk too. The host is very helpful and was there to help and answer any questions we had.
