Such a wonderful place in between Umbria hills, La Fortezza Alta welcomed us warmly providing everything we needed. The stay took place in one of La Fortezza's lovely apartments, with Wi-Fi and Air conditioning to counter summer's heat during our working days. We had a swimming pool right next to the apartment which was the cherry on top, to be used at our discretion any time we wanted. Francesca took care of every additional need we had, for example providing us a can of their wonderful home-made extra virgin olive oil for our lunches or setting up morning breakfasts for all of us. We are grateful to have discovered such a wonderful place and we are looking forward to coming back to Umbria and staying again in this wonderful medieval castle.

Nice room with comfortable beds. Everything was perfectly clean. The owner is very helpful. She warned us in advance that the restaurants would be busy in the evening and arranged seats for us. The breakfast was adequate.

What a lovely place to stay in! A beautiful apartment in the centre of a charming village. Spacious, clean and comfortable. There are many touches to make the apartment cosy and unique. The shop and restaurants are within minutes walk. It is very conveniently placed to the Cammino but would also make a great base to explore the area. The host is fantastic; communication was excellent, checking in and out very easy. I would definitely stay here again and thoroughly recommend it.
