Nice, countryside house. Quiet location, large garden with a hammock and a football field. We received complete check-in information via WhatsApp. On site, we were met by the owner’s father, who did not speak English. It was funny how he explained everything to my husband during the apartment tour and ignored me.

The first night of our stay there was a programme with traditional Italian music. The atmosphere was delightful and unique. The staff was very kind and the breakfast just perfect. Italian espresso is molto bene.

The place is extremely quiet because the Masseria is not located right next to the main road, so you will enjoy a restful sleep. The hosting family is incredibly lovely, they will do everything they can so you can get the most out of your stay. Lorena & Francesco are wonderful hosts. They have created an oasis of calm in the countryside close to the coast and Otranto. My room with little garden was very comfortable. Breakfast on the terrace was a delight with delicious homemade pastries and good choice of savoury and sweet. I recommend hiring a bike for the day and exploring the coast and pineta. There are excellent restaurants nearby and in Otranto which is a beautiful coastal town. There are wonderful coves, caves and beaches to explore and swim from, in crystal clear water. I highly recommend the Salento area of Puglia and Tenuta Sofia is the ideal base to explore from. ThankYou for a wonderful few days!
