This was one of the most memorable stays of our entire trip around Sicily. Our friendly hosts met us as we drove in to the town, and guided us to a place to safely park our car for free (not easy in Erice). They are proud of their beautiful town and gave us a quick driving tour of the town and pointed out places of interest and shared the history of the town. The apartment itself was lovely, quiet, centrally located, with a gorgeous terrace view of the surroundings, and packed with thoughtful amenities. Special and unforgettable!

Beautiful authentic location at the heart of Erice. We stayed for 2 nights in order to spend a full day discovering the historic city. Mauricio was a super host and his communication was great. We were able to park our car for free in a private parking outside the city wall and for a small fee he picked us and our luggage up and brought us to the front door. The room is well equipped, with a view on a small internal courtyard and being able to step outside your front door onto the cobbled streets of the city was priceless. I would thoroughly recommend a stay here!

This is a lovely 1 bedroom apartment adjoining the owners property. It was well presented with everything you could need. Andreina was there to welcome us and explain everything and ask if we needed anything. She clearly takes pride in her home as it was well presented, very clean and had everything you could want. She also had limoncello in the fridge, some fresh juice and a nicely gifted present of local home made biscuits. A very nice touch. The area is very quiet. As it had a BBQ in the garden we took the opportunity to cook fresh fish. There is a nice eating area outside with table, chairs etc. We parked on the property. The apartment is not far from the beach and shops. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Excellent Breakfast, beyond expectations, with a lot of drinks and food as well sweet as salted. Very nice people wanting to help you as much as possible, in particular to find a parking place not too far from the hotel and to pick you up with a car to go to the hotel with your luggages.

This was a wonderful place to stay. It's located right in the middle of the old city and within a few minutes' walk to all the museums, churches, and other sightseeing spots. The apartment is beautifully decorated and on a very quiet street. The host was very helpful giving us information before and after we arrived. We visited off season so we were able to park right outside the city walls. I would definitely love to stay here again in the future.

Set 200 metres from Erice Cathedral, right by the town walls, Il Carmine is a former monastery linked to the Carmelite order of monks.
