Family hotels and homes in Ghizzano

We (2 adults + 1 teen) have stayed at this lovely home which is really cared for and equipped with everything you could have imagined and far beyond. House consists of 2 bedroom and 2 bathrooms. Bathroom amenity is better than the hotel which is local Tuscan produce with beautiful aroma scent. Thanks to the owner’s kind gesture and consideration, house was already heated with comfortable temperature when we have checked in at night. We also found a surprise breakfast item, sweets breakfast, drinks yogurt, eggs much and more on the dining table. This was very useful. We originally thought of grabbing the breakfast on the way after the check out. Instead, we could have a breakfast at the comfort of the house before checking out. Also, communication was great too. Owner speaks English is great plus in Italy for non Italian speaker. Since it was winter and we just stayed for 1 night just to sleep over, unfortunately I could not use outdoor facility. It would have been nice to chill out in the outdoor area with BBQ during the summer months with scent of Lavender around you overlooking the Tuscan countryside to relax our mind from the daily hectic life. If you are looking for the place to stay, this is such a rare to find with full of comfort and lovely owner family with heart of Gold – not to be missed. You will never regret it. I highly recommend this place to anyone. In fact, I cannot recommend enough and cannot describe how great it is. One must experience it to know and appreciate this gem. Thank you so much for the unforgettable stay. It was a truly magical experience.

The vacation at the agriturismo was the dream and I realized how unique this place is the more people I told about it who immediately got jealous of my vacation :) The location is so peaceful and you can stroll around a huge area with olive, apple, peach and much more trees which lets you calm down deeply. On top of that, you can have the chance to join some activities with Viviana and dive fully into the farm life. We had an excellent and authentic dinner with her, where she cooked the best ragout we have ever tried. Retrospectively, we should have done that always as it is better than going to restaurants and probably also cheaper! So try it out :) Last but not least, the breakfast is a bomb. Not only for your belly, but also for your heart. Viviana prepared something different everyday and even asked us if we prefered something salty or sweet in the beginning of our stay. Finally, the cappuccino still accompanies me in my sweetest dreams... We are just super greatful of this experience, and I am sure both of us will remember this experience still in 20 years or so, as it was full of love and happiness. If you look for something authentic coupled with a lovely host, then this is your place to go.

We loved every minute of our stay! The room was very clean, modern and warm in winter, TV with Netflix, and we had a lovely patio where we could enjoy the peace and quiet of the beautiful surroundings. The food was delicious! Breakfast was plentiful and we highly recommend to book the dinner at their restaurant as all the food is genuine, using mostly the produce of the farm and cooked to perfection, with reasonable prices. The owners are so sweet and thoughtful and we truly appreciated the wine and sweets they prepared for us for our anniversary! We hope to be back in the future and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a getaway immersed in nature!

The owner, Francesca is very kind and helpful. Lovely to have a whole unit to ourselves with kitchen and washing machine included. Francesca also provides tea and coffee, breakfast cereal and so much more. The town is small and quiet with very little in the way of shopping and only one restaurant. We used the well equipped kitchen to make dinner. Francesca has also catalogued a list of restaurants in near by towns accessible by car. Thank you for a great stay. 🇦🇺

All of Peccioli's attractions are within walking distance of the apartment, which is ideal as there is so much to see! It was very comfortable and was usually a pleasant temperature without needing to switch on the air conditioning. Plenty of towels and a change of bed linen were provided which was appreciated. The owners were very helpful and responded quickly to any requests for information or help. The residents in the neighbouring apartments were friendly and after just a few days we started to feel quite at home!

Fabulous little apartment, in great quiet location of the very interesting, attractive town of Peccioli. The apartment has a lovely view looking north west towards Pisa, with a floor-to-ceiling open window / door where you can sit and watch the swifts diving about the church tower opposite (in the summer of course). Giorgio the owner met us and despite not speaking English or us not speaking Italian, he explained everything we needed to know easily, and in a super friendly welcoming way. The apartment has several nice touches - iPad for Spotify music, Alexa to control the lights, a selection of wines to purchase on a wine rack on the wall, a bar of chocolate, some Italian sweets, toiletries and a Lavazzo coffee pod machine with plenty of pods that lasted all week. Despite there being a sofa bed, the bed was extremely comfortable and my partner and I slept well. There was no noise outside, the air conditioning worked well and was so quiet you couldn't hear it at all. All in all, a fabulous little place in the heart of Peccioli, a Tuscan village that is trying to make its mark through its outdoor contemporary art, progressive mayor, innovative electric car transport scheme and most of all, very friendly local people who made us feel very welcome - especially Giorgio. It was of the smoothest stays we had. The apartment was very clean and pretty both exterior and interior!

So much to do here! Ping pong, swimming, eating and drinking with a stunning view, wine tasting, horse riding We did it all! Also very good food! At a great price to, best we found in Tuscany.
