Lovely rustic property in a remote setting nestled in the Chianti hills. We only stayed for one night but had a great experience. A very relaxed check-in with a complimentary bottle of Chianti and can of Olive oil, all produced on the land. We are yet to try both, but judging by the food and wine we had for dinner, they will be quality. The food was fantastic, excellently prepared by the resident chef. Breakfast was simple but exceptional; when travelling with fussy children, it's a testament that they both loved the breakfast options. The scrambled eggs were particularly delicious. A point of improvement; It would be ideal to stock guest rooms with a bottle or bottles of water on arrival and top them up daily. If you are looking for an authentic experience of rural Tuscany, this is a perfect choice. No pretence, no pomp, just good quality food and wine, with warm welcoming Tuscan hospitality.
