We had an excellent stay with a very gracious host Marcella, who speaks fluent English. She met us at the downstairs entrance at the agreed upon time, and showed us the property. Up two flights of stairs, you enter a hallway where both large bedrooms are. Each bedroom has it's own large bathroom that is accessible from the hallway. All impeccably clean. The beds were super comfortable. We had a large double bed, and our two boys had a large double bed and a large single bed in bedroom #2. Each bedroom had a well functioning and modern AirCon unit. Upstairs via a flight of stairs connected to the internal hallway is a decent-size kitchen with a Lavazza coffee-maker, fridge-freezer and a small table for family breakfasts. From here you can enter the large private terrace, equipped with a table and chairs. We did not use the outside, as it was too hot. The bus-stop to Taormina is 130 meters from the apartment, and we used it every day. We shopped at the nearby 'Mini Marked de Anna' only 60m away, and they make awesome fresh sandwiches there. Note their opening hours; closed during early afternoon. We had great brunches (omelettes, scrambled eggs) at nearby 'Ristorante Arco Rosso' another 90m away. This restaurant has a fantastic owner that speaks perfect English.

I'd like to be as objective as possible. First entry at 12:25 AM, the apartment was clean. It smelled very unpleasant, but maybe it wasn't properly aired.

Set on the east coast of Sicily, Garden Hotel is just 50 metres from the sandy beaches of Taormina. It features a lovely relaxing garden with tables, chairs and sun loungers.

Perfect location to get there by car and then park it there and use the funicular to get to Taormina (the funicular stop is a 5 minutes walk from the hotel). Private entrance to the beach located super near. The staff (Angelo and Gianluca) would just elevate your experience, and I advice you to have lunch and dinner there.

Perfect location, perfect view and perfect staff. Room was not big but enough for us. Breakfast and car parking included in daily rate and this were quite important in Taormina. 15 mins walk from hotel to Taormina city center which was a pleasant walk.

The owner was great. He was very accommodatin and kind. He accommodated us with everything, advised us where to go, what is nice to see, but at the same time he respected the guests' requests. The accommodation is close to the road, but it is quiet for sleeping. The accommodation is a short walk from the bus stop and a 5-minute walk from the beach. There is a shop and a nice restaurant on the way to the apartment. If I visit the area again, these accommodations are a clear choice.

The house and room was spectacular. Everything was modern, clean and amazing. There were a lot of food amenities to have in the room, including bottled water, juice, yoghurt, and baked pastries. Our host Nando was so kind and friendly. He made our trip to Taormina so much more memorable. Helped us plan our day my mapping out best places to see. He helped park the car since the streets of Taormina are so tight. He honestly makes the stay feel like home.

The room was very spacious, the bed good, clean and a lovely balcony to take your morning coffee from. The staff were very helpful and cleaned every day. There was a shop right by and you live in the main street without being bothered by any noise. I can really recommend this!
