The biggest highlight of these apartments is definitely the hosts — they are incredibly sweet, warm, and interesting people. Every morning, while preparing or after serving us a delicious breakfast, we would hear beautiful classical music playing softly from their part of the house. It created such a magical atmosphere, like we were living on a villa straight out of Call Me By Your Name. Truly unforgettable. The design of the house is stunning — you can feel how much love and soul the owners have put into every detail. Everything was spotlessly clean, beautifully arranged, and filled with character. The town itself is also very charming and peaceful, which made our stay even more special. Honestly, everything was just perfect — from the cozy atmosphere to the kindest hosts and the delicious breakfasts. We loved every second.

A truly unique setting and location. It was surrounded by nature and a fruit garden. The facilities were simple but sufficient. The hosts were very kind and we had a great time getting to know them. The dinner served at the B&B was also excellent.

The owner is such a nice person, we had our towels changed and room cleaned everyday. The sea is 30min-1h away but the wild beaches are worth it. The pizza is also very good!

From the moment we arrived, our hosts, Riccardo and Giovanna Rosa, welcomed us as if we were part of their family. They went far beyond what any guest could expect – guiding us to hidden gems, authentic Sardinian experiences, and places where you can truly feel the heart and soul of Italy and Sardinia, far away from typical tourist routes. One of the most unforgettable moments was being invited to their family lunch. It was an incredible experience – delicious homemade dishes, warm hospitality, and the feeling of being part of a true Italian family. Their kindness, generosity, and attention to every detail made our stay truly special. They also gave us great recommendations for beautiful beaches, local events, and festivals, helping us experience Sardinia in the most authentic way possible. My wife and I were delighted with everything – the comfort of the accommodation, the hospitality, and the atmosphere. We highly recommend Locanda Su Mere to anyone visiting Sardinia. Everything was really perfect. The location of the villa is stunning. There are two terraces where You can have meals during the day and see the spectacular sunset. The pool was an amazing alternative while the water in the sea was quite cold after the storm. There is also a shower near the pool so don’t need to go through the house after a swim in the pool. The bedrooms are located very well in the house as they don’t get direct sunlight during the day and stay fresh aired for good night sleep. It is a perfect location to stay in Alghero. Best recommendation!
