Family hotels and homes in Osio Sotto

I stayed with two friends for a week at Casa Elli, and we had a wonderful time. The accommodation is the entire first floor of the house and consist of 5 rooms. It offers plenty of space for families or groups of up to 6 people. The living room is very spacious and offers a seating area with two sofas and a big round table across the room. The kitchen offers a large fridge and freezer, along with a gas stove, two sinks, a dinner table, and all utensils necessary to cook a delicious Italian dish. In the bathroom there is a big bathtub along with a shower. There is a master bedroom with a king-sized bed along with another bedroom that has 3 small beds. The beds are comfortable. In the wardrobe are multiple cushions in all kinds of sizes. The highlight is most definitely the wonderful spacious terrace. It has a big table with a portable roof, as well as two very comfortable outdoor sofas. It’s the perfect place to spend a nice summer evening. The entire house was super clean and you could not spot one hair anywhere in the accommodation. Since there lots of mosquitos in the area, especially in late summer, every window and door is equipped with a magnetic mosquito net. This worked like a dream and we barely had any mosquitos indoors. The house is located in peaceful residential area in the small town Osio Sotto, about 30 minutes from Milan and 20 minutes from Bergamo. Supermarkets and bakeries are only a few minutes by car. There are 6 free parking spots across the street of Casa Elli. The owners of the house live in the apartment upstairs and are some of the most welcoming people you’ll meet. Very fun staying on the second floor of an excellent restaurant. Everything was great.

The apartment had everything that we needed. Nespresso Machine ( with pods 🤗) and water were nice little touches. Spotless, fresh apartment. Host, Giorgio, gave excellent instructions on everything. Including which bus stop to get off at for the Train Station, for us to catch our train to Lake Garda the following day. Seamless entry to property and use of everything. Hairdryer and Iron were also available . Nice restaurants within walking distance.

The 2 bedroom apartment was beautifully updated, clean, comfortable and functional, and was actually better in person than the photos that were online at the time of booking. Our host was very helpful, communicative, and happily stored our luggage after check out. The location was very central, a quick bus ride from the train station, and an easy 20ish minute walk to the bottom of the funicular that takes you up to the old town.

Everything is clear and very near to the airport. The communication was so easily at all moments. The driver was super helpful and punctual. Very friendly.

The apartment was spotless, modern and comfy. We liked it a lot, so highly recomented.

Sonila was incredibly helpful both before and during our stay, answering questions about public transport, eating options etc quickly and clearly. She even took time to meet us and explain things when we first arrived - what a lovely warm person she is. Our room was spacious, clean and warm. The en suite had a lovely new shower. Perfect. The communal kitchen with tea coffee options, cereals and Sonila's delicious home made cake is a great idea, and we were able to leave our bags after check out, then grab a coffee before heading to the airport. Overall, a great place to stay and we would do so again if we come back to Bergamo. There is a bus stop outside to take you up to the Citta Alta, and "lower" Bergamo's attractions are a short walk away.
