The towels are luxuriously soft, with extra ones thoughtfully offered for the swimming pool. The orangery dining area is absolutely immaculate, with the softest napkins I have ever experienced—an understated yet beautiful touch that makes each meal feel special. The gardens are a work of art—manicured, refined, and enhanced by perfect lighting that makes evenings here magical. Each room feels special, with thoughtful design touches and a unique character. Ground-floor rooms open directly onto the gardens or swimming pool area, adding a sense of privacy and connection to the outdoors. The facilities are accessible to everyone, including guests with disabilities, which makes the property truly inclusive. Breakfast is nothing short of excellent—fresh, varied, and served with care. The hospitable staff make you feel like a valued guest rather than just a visitor, always ready with helpful recommendations and warm conversation. Villa Roncuzzi is also brilliantly located: close to motorways, the Adriatic coast, and well-positioned for exploring Ravenna and beyond. It’s perfect for a summer getaway by the pool, but equally inviting in winter thanks to its cosy relaxation lounge. Lovely garden, wonderful host and truly the best garden breakfast we had in many years. We loved the home made pies. Very good when visiting Ravenna for a day.

This place was recommended to me by a friend and it exceeded my expectations. The room was enormous with a sitting area, dressing room, and large bathroom with a bathtub and separate shower. The staff was gracious and had helpful recommendations for dinner and things to do. The breakfast was wonderful, with a good selection of cold cuts and pastries, yogurt, cereal, etc. There was also an option to order eggs in many different styles. The location is perfectly situated in the old town, with all the mosaics and Dante exhibits withing walking distance.
