We stayed one night at Il Monocolo - Affitti Brevi whilst walking the Magna via Francigena. It was a spacious, charming apartment in a small lively village. Bedding was extremely comfortable. Particularly appreciated the enduringly hot shower after a sodden afternoon on the trail.

hosts very friendly, attentive, rooms extremely clean and organised...Good spacious room in the kitchen and bedroom...had all the essential utensils , gas bottle ran out but hosts promptly delivered the gas bottle.. water ran out and the hosts filled the water tank promptly.. had an issue with the boiler and no water was running but the hosts called a plumber and came straight away and fixed the issue immediately..

After a day traveling from Palermo to Scala dei Turchi and Valley of the Temples, it was a little oasis of quiet relaxation. The garden is beautiful, the rooms tastefully decorated and the food delicious. It was a shame we were not staying longer. A fantastic family business!

What a beautiful property! We stayed here as a multi generational family visiting family in the area and it was perfect. The shared kitchen and the rooms/bathrooms were immaculately clean. The beds were comfortable. We had breakfast in the nearby cafe and it was brilliant. We will 100% stay here again, it couldn’t have been better. Thank you.

Great service, daily cleaning. Nice view of the mountains. We had the large terrace all to ourselves. Pleasantly surprised upon arrival with a welcome of a bottle of water and wine. Fresh and modern renovation. Free parking on the premises. A romantic place to stay. I recommend this place.

Spacious, stylish apartment located in the quite neighborhood. Well equipped kitchen (but probably you will go to the restaurant/pizzeria right across the street :) ). There is a fan in the bedroom, but we didn't use it because we stayed in casa vacanze in December :) Very nice host- Daniela.
