The place was very clean and well looked after and furnished. The host, Stefano, was really friendly, and our late check-in wasn't a problem at all. He also left some yoghurt, water, tea and coffee for us. It was a very convenient one night stopover, and now we regret that we didn't stay longer and explore the surrounding nature. We received a nice welcome and felt at home. We were 3 families and enjoyed the quietness of the place while the kids were playing in the pool and the garden. The only reason I am giving it a nine and not a ten is that is not the newest facility. It is an old, charming Italian hotel in the middle of Tuscany. Maybe eight would be more precise, but they are too kind to bring their rating down. Expect that kind of experience - cosy. People are super nice and kind, very helpful also, although not everyone speaks English, so expect some fun moments in communication.
