Enzo could not have been more helpful. We were supposed to walk to Assoro on the Cammino di San Giacomo but appalling rain and thunderstorms made it too dangerous. Taxi to Assoro? No need - we'll take you. And they let us stay in the dry till midday. Unbelievably kind and cheerful!

It is exactly what the name says: a bed house. With a kitchen big enough for all guests who can possibly be there to spend time too. View is good. It can be a good stay for walks and the historic sites in the area. Good to share that it is true: the stay is directly on a big road, but the bedroom is total silence. The host is the owner who lives in the neighbor building, so always there to help in case of need. He is helpful and kind, as most people in Sicily. He provides some food by default (pasta, pesto, lemon, milk, coffee capsules etc) so you don’t need to buy everything yourself. The kitchen and the master bedroom are spacious, with plenty of cabinets. The bed is very comfortable. You can park inside the garden that you share with the owner and with some relatives of him, who live in the other neighbor buildings. You have a terrace with beautiful view over the village and the lake.
