Super new and very clean, bright and quiet. The beds are comfortable and fresh. The pillow is the best ever. The real situation is much much newer and better than the picture. If you drive the car, it's very recommended.

Location is perfect to get away from everything. Rural and peaceful. Wonderful little place. Friendly owners who had local suggestions. Make sure you have a car and drive around Abashiri. So many museums to go to! Loved sleeping in the attic loft space with futon beds. Perfect for a change of pace. Definitely coming back.

The resort is a beautiful place. The staff were exceptionally polite and professional. The buffet dinner and breakfast were delicious. The Onsen was the highlight my visit.

Kagariya is a beautiful traditional ryokan with stunning scenery. What blew me away was the food. It was top quality. I also reserved a private bath and the wooden tub was cool. Also the staff is very kind, they offered to drive me to the airport after check-out. Thank you so much!

I spent 2 weeks in Hokkaido in different parts of the island but this is my favourite place to stay at. The facilities are nice, the host and family are so friendly and the food are better than any restaurant that you could go to in Hokkaido.
