Wonderful spot - the dog-friendly room is a huge plus and our primary reason for staying. The entire house worked perfectly for traveling with the pup. We were worried that it would be too far from Kagoshima, but it's so close to the train that it sort of balances out. Kajiki also has a lot of great things going for it - I'd recommend this place to anybody looking for a nice, quiet retreat.

The hotel is far from the centre and the train station, but it is in front of the volcano and has a breathtaking view. Don't miss the sunrise! There is no real breakfast, but quality home-made snacks are offered, as well as tea and coffee.
