Very clean, new washer/dryer, nice espresso/coffee machine, kitchen ware and appliances if we decided to cook, plenty of space for our family to spread out and sleep, beds were comfortable, dishwasher and ice maker in the fridge were available, nice vacuum for sand from the beach 😅. Nice towels too. A/C worked very well, as did the hot water. We really enjoyed our stay here. So far it’s the best place we’ve stayed in a long time!

Fantastic host, super helpful, kind and welcoming! Overall extremely comfortable for a hostel, with all the facilities you need in great condition. Having bikes available (regular ones are free) was SUCH a nice bonus, it literally made my trip. I could get around easily (you do need to like biking) including going to the city, or to nearby beaches, or even to much further places.

pure bliss at this hotel. The unflappable manager, Tomo, really makes the place exceptional. his dinner recommendations were rave worthy in themselves. he can rent you a car but the electric bikes were so fun! would absolutely recommend.

The apartment was perfect. Great layout, super clean, with a beautiful view. The kitchen was equipped for cooking simple meals. The bed was comfortable. The location was exactly what we wanted: near a beautiful beach (Sunset beach) and lots of restaurants. It was quite easy to get there from the airport by bus. One night, a neighbor was really noisy. A knock on the door made it stop, but I messaged the staff too and the next day, there was a reminder in the elevator about quiet time being from 9:00 pm. A wonderful stay!

My little villa was perfect for my intention to just relax. The amenities like the spa and bikes for rent added great value. The included breakfast is very filling. The beach is very quiet and beautiful. Airport shuttle is also included but not available after 1730.

As per the photos, the room (or, actually, more like a cabin) is spacious and luxurious (and we stayed in the smallest room available). We went in April and the private pool was clean and heated (lukewarm), so we could enjoy it even though the weather was not as warm as in the summer. The beach definitely feels like a private beach. It is not the prettiest or best in Miyako, but still nice and picturesque. While there are better snorkeling spots in the island, you can see marine wildlife in front of the resort too. (Our trip in Miyako had only 2 days, so we didn't try a lot of spots, but Aragusuku beach during high tide was superb for snorkeling: lots of fishes, a sea turtle, some venomous creatures too, read the sign at the entrance of the beach to learn the list please). Cuisine was very good as well. We booked the plan with breakfast and dinner included and, compared to other similar menus we had at ryokans during our Japan trip, Rescape has more of a western feeling (feels like a japanese french fusion cuisine maybe?) Staff was superb in terms of hospitality. It rained the whole day on our arrival day, but you can bring cards, board games, etc, from the lounge onto your room. Make sure to try Shikuwasa juice if you hadn't tried it elsewhere in Okinawa yet.

Sony and his wife were very gracious hosts and have done a great job at cultivating a true sense of community among guests and staff. The snorkeling trip was a lot of fun as were the dinners and drinks in the evening.

The accommodation was excellent for our group of 8 and they had everything we needed for cooking meals. They even offered ingredients from the communal kitchen which was super helpful. The location is amazing being that is literally a short walk to one of the best beaches on the island. We loved our stay and would definitely come back. The hosts are kind and very generous. Highly recommended!
