The accommodation was warm and cosy. And my kids loved sharing their cute mezzanine bedroom. What really made the trip for us was the incredible, warm staff. Every evening, we’d hop across to the central lodge (You can get food, drinks, and entertainment there)… and the hosts made us feel like family. Great value for money and staff were super friendly. Great if you like self catering lodges for families. Easy walk across the road to the first run of the day, and from the chairlift after last run of the day. Our room was clean and relatively spacious for a family. Heating was good. good hot water. Good onsen in the basement. Owner is lovely... doesn't speak a word of English but he's good on google translate so you work it out.
