Superb accommodation in beautifully designed new hotel/ryokan. I stayed in the mixed dormitory. Clean, spacious and comfortable. Very quiet at night even when full. Short walk from the train station and to the wharf for bike rental. Restaurants and supermarket two minutes walk away. Cho and Shane are marvellous hosts, and we are now good friends. Easy to make friends with fellow travellers in the shared dining area, and designer style lounge. I loved my 7 day stay at Lemonsea, and in Onomichi. I would have stayed longer.

Kazu and Staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. They provided us with great recommendations of local restaurants/shops and activities. Very clean with great sea view. Comes with a free parking space which is a bonus.

Fabulous stay here, cannot recommend enough. The main thing that stood out for us was the service, the man who showed us round was so helpful, gave us really detailed directions to places, restaurant recommendations with little details, and helped us hire bikes and a canoe. Nothing was too small for him to help us with, and he even fixed the outside shade covering in the pouring rain!! The villa itself was perfect for what we needed, right on the beach (check for jellyfish!) and on the main cycle routes. Shops about a 20-30min cycle ride away, and there were great facilities for cooking. We had a BBQ three out of the four nights we stayed. Overall an 11/10 stay and would definitely recommend, and would love to stay again if we ever come back to Japan!! Thank you!!

Beautiful house, spacious, clean, seems to cater well to the needs of both Japanese and foreign tenants. Nice to make the 15 mins climb up the hill and enjoy the views from Senkoji-park.

Amazing view and stunning property! Designed & decorated to perfection. Having a full kitchen and a feeling of luxury was so wonderful after a lot of budget options on our road trip. We were able to cook up a delicious dinner, the property has salt, pepper, oil and soy sauce in addition to all the utensils & cookware you need. The welcome ramen and drinks were a wonderful touch. Watching the boats coming & going on the water out the front window was magical - could spend hours doing that. Also great bathroom with Aesop toiletries,comfy beds & pillows! We felt right at home here, had a real beach house luxury feel - definitely worth a visit!
