Everything is top notch, room is spacious and clean with daily room service, staff is extremely friendly, warm and hospitable. I would like to express my great gratitude to Iwasaki (岩崎） at dining and Yamada (山田泰子） at reception, they are doing their best to make customers happy with great smile 😃 Not forgetting to mention the meals which is very delicious, ingredients are fresh and with great variety. Everything was amazing! Zack did a great job making us all (there were 7 of us) feel welcomed. The living space and kitchen was big enough to allow us all to hang out. Zack put a power outlet in each of the bedrooms to let us plug in all our devices. The showers were great! It really was a great place to stay.

The room is very spacious, the facilities are brand new and clean, and the soundproofing is excellent. The private bath outside the room is fantastic; it was snowing on the day of my stay, making the snow bath very enjoyable. The staff is incredibly friendly to foreigners, providing a welcoming atmosphere. Although I don't know the name of the staff on that day, the service was excellent.

My stay at Tenjin Lodge was very good! The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast and dinner were very good and tasty! The accommodation also had an ofuro (Japanese bath), which was pleasant. The location was ideal, since my purpose for the trip was to go hiking, and the accommodation was located close to hiking/trekking trails. The staff was helpful and friendly, I highly recommend this place!

It was so peaceful and relaxed. Tami is a true artist and has created an amazing workspace and I am so glad that I chose here rather than staying in a conventional hotel and hiding away in my room …there was always someone to chat to downstairs or I could escape and study upstairs. I met so many wonderful people and Tami San was exceptional. She cooked me nabe on my last night there.

This lovely Airbnb property is a gem find. It is located very near the heart of the town, you can walk from this property to all the nice cafes and eateries around this place. There’s a weekend market at the town center with crafts workshops for the kids and adults. There’s plenty to do from hikes, water activities (in summer and autumn), onsens (all year round) and skiing. It’s about 30mins drive to ski slopes. The property is fully furnished just bring your toothbrush. You can cook your meals in the lovely kitchen (my husband has kitchen envy now). And if you want to, you can let the owners (who live literally next door btw) know when booking and they can prepare the BBQ pit for you. It has washer&dryer, a lovely bathroom with bathtub. Yes it has free wifi. Great for couples or small families. It has a western bedroom with a queen size bed. There is also a tatami room that sleeps 2. This Airbnb is so nice you don’t want to leave it when you get there!

The pure Japan experience! This is a location where the majority of the visitors are Japanese, which makes the stay most authentic. The Onsen are beautiful and dinners amazing. But, perhaps most important, the staff is extremely nice and helpful!
