This place is AMAZING. I didnt know, but it is a traditional Japanese country house, more than 100 years old, tatami floors, futon bed, little gardin looking to the mountains. It was one of my best stays in my Japan trip so far. Also, Ashi (the host) is super nice, he even drived me to Magome the next day free of charge. Thank you, Ashi. I recommend very much.

All the meals were outstanding! Beautifully presented and delicious. Almost too beautiful to eat! The houses are one-of-a-kind and the setting is idyllic.
