The place is BEAUTIFUL. They really did a good job rebuilding a Japanese traditional style home which is also quite modern at the same time. Common areas and the rooms are well taken care of. Everything was perfectly clean and both the bathrooms and the kitchen are fully furnished and very comfortable to use. The staff is also very helpful when needed, even if they might not be at the reception all the time.

Our stay at the hotel was exceptional. We enjoyed every moment—from the staff, the ambiance, the room, and the place as a whole. A special mention goes to the dinner we had at the hotel, prepared by Chef Kenya Akita, who undoubtedly deserves three Michelin stars. Chef Akita, a Japanese culinary artist, trained for 13 years in France at a Michelin-starred restaurant before returning to Japan to adapt his extensive culinary expertise to the local cuisine.
