The resort sits on the beautiful glacial lake. Great for Winter and Summer activities. Our room overlooking the lake had a Japanese feel but was very spacious. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were great! Although the bathroom was on the small side it was clean and functional. Ted the owner was friendly and happy to share his knowledge of the local area.

Hayden, Saki and family made the stay with them amazing. For a family run pension, their attention to detail and general helpfulness is above and beyond. The location to skiing is excellent and the rooms weee comfortable and budget friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed and recommend.

The hotel is clean, has a wonderful continental breakfast with eggs and sausages cooked fresh, many bread and cereal options, hot tea & coffee. It is a 2 minute walk from the Lake Nojiri, which is super convinient as you can do SUP, kayaking and other water activities there and then return to the hotel to rest. For those staying with the kids, there is TV with youtube/netfilx and of course - internet if you want to bring your own device. Also, there is a game room with board games and table football.

Staff was very kind and helpful. They went out of service plan to give us hospitality. The common area has many utensils so that we could heat and eat our dinner. The kids room is simple, roomy, and has new games. Our kids spent good time playing in those rooms. Staff has mixed (Japanese and non-Japanese staff) nationalities, so comfortable for travellers. Rooms are big, clean. Bed was good.
