House (101) was very clean and well furnished. There was floor heating, a sauna, and heating units in every room. The washing machine had a dryer function. The kitchen was well stocked and had a microwave/oven and a dish washer. Very close walk to Izumo Temple.

Fantastic facilities, great view from the room. I would go to Izumo again just to stay at this place.

Very pleasant surprise : this is a very confortable appartement in a quiet neighbourhood litteraly steps away from the main sanctuary of Izumo. You need a car to get there but there is a reserved parking spot in the back. Free NetFlix and a superb Harman Kardon speaker bluetooth connects easily with your phone for some feel-at-home music. A small "Supa" right in front will provide to your basic needs otherwise, a 5min drive will get you all you need for a dinner at home. The only draw back is the owner : you have to phone him (not convenient with a Canadian line : we had to find a public phone) to get him to remotely unlock the entrance. But once in, it is home! We highly recommand.

The staff service was exceptional. This is definitely our favourite Ryokan. The bathing facilities are great, especially after long walks! Next time we are back in Izumo we will definitely book this hotel. Food is really good, for drinkers it's worth going for the unlimited deal.
