This is a freshly built guest house, all rooms are big, the furniture is new. It is pretty far from the beach but in our case we travelled by car and we wanted to hike more then going to the beach so this was not a problem. The price is very good.

The location is just perfect. It is right next to the president park. As you walk through the park, you'll find the gate that takes you to the lake. The owners of the place are really very kind. Breakfast was the amazing spread made by them with lots of love and you'll have interesting conversations with them. They were really kind to offer us the ride to the bus station as we had heavy bags with us. Just don't think twice about booking the place also if you plan to travel by marshrutka, this place is ideal, it is just 650 meters away which is easily walkable.

Alimbek and his wife were amazing hosts! We had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay at their guesthouse. They have a beautiful fruit and vegetable garden, and were kind enough to give us fresh cucumbers, apricots and raspberries that were delicious! The room and bathroom was clean and spacious, and the location is a short walk to the Main Street. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to spend time in Cholpon Ata, or just for one night as a stopover through Issyk Kul.

We enjoyed our homestay at Sabyl’s very much. It is a beautiful mix of a relaxing atmosphere and a cultural experience. The house is close to the lake and surrounded by a beautiful garden with some animals. We had very good and fresh traditional food here and it was cheap, too. Sabyl was very, very friendly, even though she only speaks Russian. We can only recommend this place!

We stayed at “Golden Street” for two nights in Cholpon-Ata and were truly impressed. It’s a great location – the lake is very close and within walking distance. The room was spacious, clean, and cozy. The hosts were wonderful – we felt like long-awaited family members. There’s a garden in the yard, and they invited us to pick ripe cherries and peaches. They constantly cared about how we were feeling, shared recommendations on what to visit, and always helped – even calling taxis for us. When we were leaving, they came to say goodbye and saw us off. The warmth and sincerity we experienced here will stay in our hearts. We wholeheartedly recommend this place!
