location: a million dollar view over the mekong and amazing sunset. very, very friendly staff - good breakfast - nice clean rooms - cheap laundry we stayed 3 nights: and did a daytrip goldpanning with autentic Khmu and Hmong villages the second daytrip was to the 1OOO year old tea trea primary forest and lots of beautiful views along the road. our guide Pheng was amazing, from the Khmu tribe, so he could give us a lot of information. You can book the daytrips with the hotel: they have many nice daytrips.

They picked up our luggage at the pier when we arrived, and delivered it at the pier when we left. We were upgraded to a room with balcony without any extra costs. We had to leave 6.30 in the morning for the slow boat, they made take-away breakfast, which included warm omelets. Mmm.

Stayed for one night during the 2 day slow boat to Luang Prabang. Perfect location as it’s a 2 min walk from the pier no need for taxi. Room was really nice and clean, A/C worked well. Made us the most amazing breakfast sandwich the next morning to take onto the boat with us

It is one of the first hostels right by the pier, so you don't have to walk far. The owners were very friendly and the young woman spoke english very well. Our room with enclosed bathroom had a functioning a/c and mosquito nets for the windows. The room was very clean and the owner allowed us to fill our water bottles in the restaurant.
