I had a wonderful stay here! Everything was perfect, from the cleanliness and comfort of the room to the warm hospitality. The location is also ideal, very much closer to Aluthgama town, just walking distance, which made it super convenient. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

The residence is a very lovely building with lots of spaces for guests to sit and relax both inside and outside. There is a large, well-appointed kitchen for guests with at least 2 fridges. There is a washing machine that guests can use and the stall provide a drying rack which is excellent. The swimming pool is beautiful and the garden too is very pretty. The team who look after the place are all very nice - relaxed and helpful, always keen to assist. Pradeep who drives a tuktuk is also very helpful , a very good driver and a good member of the team.

We loved the host and their hospitality. The whole family was very friendly and helpful. We booked the room at 4 pm and they made sure we had it available within under 1 hour. The breakfast was amazing and there was nothing to complain about. It was a new property and it was clean and tidy. The host had a Three-wheeler and was always available to drop us anywhere we wanted.

In 1 word 'amazing'. Susanna is a wonderfull host who goes the extra mile for her guests such as helping with a Safari boat trip (which only 200 meters from the accomodation), complementary snacks and a home made limoncello after dinner. The self cooked dinner as the breakfast was top notch and we've had the best coffee. The pool and rooms (with inside and outside shower) were really nice.

This is the best hotel to stay for a vacation. The staff are really kind and helpful. They are always ready to help us. We received the amazing service from the hotel. Very nice pool. Clean rooms, comfortable beds. Everything was same as the pictures. Breakfast and dinner was so good. Specially dinner. They prepared it accordingly to our wish. The person who talked with me was so nice, so kind. He s name is Insaf. He is a great guy. He made my trip so easy. I really appreciate his effort. Other than that remaining staff are so kind. We received great service. I highly recommend this hotel for people who is looking for peaceful evenironme and excellent service. It’s tucked away down a back street but once you’re there it’s such a good find .. free boat ride back and forth across the river make it super easy to get to the most beautiful beach … the staff are super helpful .. it’s a very simple but lovely breakfast too every morning..

Villa River View is in an excellent location and gorgeous view of the river which makes it a peaceful retreat . The home is very welcoming and kept in pristine condition by Viraj and his lovely family. I would highly recommend staying at Villa River View as I had great advice on the local area and what to see in this beautiful part of Sri Lanka which I would have not found out as a solo traveller .

Solal Villa is a beautiful place! It is really peaceful und surrounded by nature. The Family is super friendly and warm-hearted, we felt very welcoming. It is a bigroom with a lot of windows and a big toilet. We loved the balcony and the very delicious breakfast. Thanks again!
