This hotel was outstanding! Impeccably clean, with delicious food and incredibly kind staff. They went above and beyond to solve a problem we had, arranging everything perfectly for the next day. Super organized and attentive. Highly recommended for an exceptional stay! Dinner was excellent, with an exceptional rice & curry and delicious kottu (a local specialty).

The place was amazing. Such a cute homely homestay. The rooms were very spacious, and the hosts were very accommodating with booking tours and gave good recommendations of what to do with my time there. The food was absolutely amazing, one of the best meals I’ve had in Sri Lanka so far. Would highly recommend and would stay again.

We spent four days at Emerald Home Stay and felt as being home! Wonderful and very very helpful hosts! Thank you very much! Breakfast and dinner were extremely good! We had a spacious and comfortable room with AC. We even were brought to the bus terminal when we left.

Arachchi Heritage is an architectural marvel combining Sri Lankan tradition with a sleek, modern design and much attention to detail in a beautiful setting at the lake shore. With only 3 tastefully decorated rooms to rent it has a very private and exclusive feel to it. We loved relaxing in the open lounge area by the pool with a nice cup of tea or cold drinks. The hospitality of the owners and staff made it feel like a home away from home. The freshly made to order food was delicious.

The welcoming feeling Wasantha provides when you stay at his homestay. Delicious Sri Lankan breakfast and dinner! Everything is clean and comfortable and you get many great tips! His house is located in a calm green neighborhood, which is nice after your day exploring. He is also a guide/driver, in case you are looking for one to explore Sri Lanka. This lady is a BOSS! Best host ever, she fully understood what we needed and arranged the best driver for us to have an amazing tour trough the old city! We were the second lucky guests in her completely new room. Spacious, clean and very comfortable. Unfortunately we could only stay for one night, otherwise we would have stayed longer and booked a cooking class.l, because her food was the best we had in Sri Lanka!
