Nice light new clean accommodation with spacious terrace and private entrance situated in a tranquil neighborhood off the main road. Good bathroom with hot shower. Large bed with an excellent mosquito net. Run by a friendly family doing their absolute best to make you having a great time. The hostess prepares excellent meals on request. If we have had time we surely would have stayed longer.

Everything. It is a phenomenal place. Something like this place is what you always dream about as a traveller, but never really get. And then you arrive at Sama. The Beach is a dream, the retreat feels like its luxery in the middel of the jungle.

Unbelievable place. It is located in a big house with a nice pool area in a quiet area. We have been welcomed very nicely by our host, with a small tour of the villa and the facilities of the hotel. There is a fridge and a place where you can cook in case you don’t want to go outside. Breakfast is incredible, you can choose between continental or Sri Lankan breakfast and it is anyway very good. Guests are caring and lovely, thank you for the stay, I wish we could have stayed longer but we needed to continue our trip to Sri Lanka. Thank you for the stay.

Had a calm and relaxing stay at this hotel. The staff was amazing and very helpful. Delicious food. Right next to the beach. (The beach is not crowded) Nothing to complain at all.

The hosts are the best, super kind, friendly and helpful, can help with tours and transport. They made us the best breakfast. The rooms very big and are completely new well-equipped (rain shower, hot tab, hot water, mirror, kettle,...), great bathroom, nice terrace , the bed was huge and really comfy and everything was super clean. The entire facility is very modern and well maintained. Wonderful quiet village, cargils supermarket and fruet store is very close, less than 5 minutes walk. The place is very calm and close to Bentota city center, about 10 minutes ride. Close to lunch-dinner places. Would 100% recommend it. Thank you so much for everything!

This is a brand new hotel - we were the first guests in one of the rooms. Our experience was really great: The room was clean and the bathroom with the outdoor shower is a highlight. It is only a 3 min walk from the hotel to the beautiful beach and a turtle hatchery. The pool of the hotel is really big and the body treatments which we received were excellent. We also enjoyed the food, both breakfast and dinner. We highly recommend this hotel also because of the hosts who have shown great hospitality and flexibility to adapt to the needs of our family. Nice welcome by the manager. The room was neat and beautiful. Great shower too. Had a super Sri Lankan breakfast in the garden. Very tasty. If we are in the area again in the future we will definitely come again. Thank you for the pleasant stay 🙏🏼
