I stayed overnight at this hotel and was very pleased. The room is comfortable, there is everything you need for a comfortable and pleasant stay. Delicious and varied food is prepared and served upon request at any time. The owner of the hotel Anju is friendly and caring, very pleasant to talk to and friendly. On my next trip to Sri Lanka, I will definitely come to this wonderful hotel.

Probably the best holiday destination I’ve ever visited. Dave and his staff have served us with delicious food with home made cake and his signature dishes. Also we've been privileged to taste Dave’s Artisan Teas and experience the Tea making process. Beautiful surrounding with excellent misty weather. The Breakfast was exceptional. Sri Lankan favourite string hoppers and the Freshest fruits with Dave's homemade Marmalade and Jams. The best Curd I've ever had. Oh I love the coffee Dave offered!! Super clean rooms and awesome library room with lots of splendid books. Oh we miss Charley so badly.. adorable companion.. :) I would give my highest recommendation and I will definitely visit again! thank you David and the awesome team!

Great stay! The place is 10min off the main road which makes it accessible while you have the feeling of being lost in nature. I am a solo traveler traveling with public transport. The bus dropped me on the main road and I walked up to the hotel (but you can also get a tuk-tuk of course). The room was good. The view with the swimming pool is amazing. Cristo, the manager of the hotel, took me for a walk in the forest around the hotel. We also visited the farm that belong to the owner of the hotel. Don't hesitate to ask Cristo for a walk. The staff was nice. The chef made us rice and curry in the evening.

This place was an absolute experience! The views were seriously breathtaking and most of all if you are looking to relax, connect with nature and have the best time disconnecting this is the ideal place. This was one the best hotels i stayed in my time in Sri Lanka. The staff was great and the owner even more so. I did a tour with him through the knuckle forest reserve and it was absolutely beautiful. He also knew a great deal about the places we went to and the local community. The hotel was clean, had a good vibe and the vieuw from my room was amazing. 2 other rooms where being built and he had plans to put in a pool. If this place gets known, its going to be packed with tourist. I would highly recommend this place and if i ever go to Sri Lanka again, this hotel is going to be at the top of my list.

We had the pleasure of staying at Margosa Mountain Villa, and it was an unforgettable experience.  It's  really an amazing place to stay. We were completely impressed with the quality and tranquillity of the Marogosa. The atmosphere of the location is splendid. The rooms are more spacious, clean, and neat. All required facilities are there. The owner and his wife cook foods deliciously. The response rate is 💯. We definitely choose the same venue in our next leisure since it's absolutely more than the money that we paid.

We really enjoyed the food and the location, the Lodge is lost among paddy fields, mountains, palm trees and beautiful small villages. The room was really confortable it has a nice terrasse and a stunning view on their beautiful garden where we saw peacocks passing by and also a lot of caméléon and beautiful lézards The family is also very kind and we could enjoy a new year party with them, playing games with kids, sharing food and observing fireworks! Waji speaks amazing French! .
