Where do I start! everything was beautiful from the calm garden inside the nature to the most poetic looking river, the room was huge and specially made for safari vibes. Each one of the staff was super nice and friendly thanks to (Mr. Reihen, Mangala, Mangula) for making our stay very special. The food and the starry calm night were amazing. We went on a safari trip with Mr. Reihen who was a professional guide and photographer, the tour was almost private, one car only. We went to zone 5 which only 20-30 safari cars were there so we could really enjoy the trip. We were very lucky to see many animals specially the beautiful leopard.

It was our second stay in this place, we really enjoyed our previous stay 3 years ago. Beautifully located guesthouse surrounded by rice fields. Very local vibes. You can get easy to the Katharagama temples and Yala National Park. Owners can arrange everything that you need. At the place you can buy local cinnamon etc. Highly recommend 👌

We had a very nice stay at the Lake Front Yala Safari. The rooms are clean, without moskitos, and it’s quite. The family was very welcoming. The provided food was amazing, and they created a very authentic Sri Lankan experience (e.g. telling you stories, letting you harvest your own coconut, learn/ support in the kitchen). We also booked our safari with them (have seen many animals, e.g. leopards, elephants…), which we can highly recommend.

This is not a stay in a hotel. this is an experience! From the moment you arrive, location is a bit hard to find, but they’ll pick you up and drive you to the resort. The other brother stands with a welcome drink and a refreshing towel. The room is great, good bed good shower and clean. Even good wifi in the room… I had twice dinner there and once lunch. I asked for a lake view table and they arranged it beautiful with lamps and a campfire. Stunning! The food is sooooo good, best I had in Sri Lanka. Everything you ask, nothing is too much for them. I really was amazed Go here!!! you will love it 😍

The staff is amazing kind and welcoming. The activities (full day safari) was perfect with perfect guide (thanks Nikki) and the best driver of the park.

I had the pleasure of staying at Farm Villa Resort in Katharagama for two nights, and it was a wonderful and memorable experience from start to finish! 🌿 From the moment we arrived, the welcome was warm and heartfelt. The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with anything. Special mention to the front office team – truly a gem in hospitality! The room was spacious, the bathroom was very big, and the overall comfort . The clean and inviting swimming pool was perfect for cooling off and relaxing in the serene atmosphere. What makes Farm Villa Resort truly special is its beautiful location surrounded by nature. The resort is set amidst lush paddy fields, and there's a charming little lake flowing through the property, creating a peaceful, scenic environment ideal for rest and reflection. I enjoyed walking through the paddy fields, listening to the birds in the mornings, and even got to pick fresh fruits from the garden! 🍌🌾 It's also conveniently located – just a short walk to the sacred Kirivehera and Katharagama Dewalaya, making it perfect for both pilgrims and nature lovers.One of the biggest highlights was the full-day Yala Safari arranged by the hotel – an absolutely amazing adventure! 🐘🦁 We saw incredible wildlife, and everything was perfectly organized with a knowledgeable guide.The food was another standout. The traditional Sri Lankan dinner was flavorful and authentic, clearly made with care and love. The breakfast offered plenty of variety, and every meal was beautifully presented. The dining team was attentive and courteous, adding to the overall great experience.In summary, Farm Villa Resort offers far more than just a place to stay – it's a place to connect with nature, enjoy delicious food, and experience genuine Sri Lankan hospitality. The staff and owner were incredibly friendly and helpful! The rooms and and the hotel itself are very new and pretty. Again, we we‘re amazed by the friendliness of the staff!

We recently visited Yala Village Eco Tree House with my mother and husband, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The owners, together with his wife, are extremely kind, caring, and attentive. They made us feel so welcome and treated us with the utmost respect and hospitality. The place itself is beautiful, peaceful, and very close to nature – a perfect spot to relax and enjoy. Everything was well organized, and we felt very comfortable throughout our stay. I highly recommend Yala Village Eco Tree House to anyone who wishes to have an unforgettable and relaxing experience in a natural and friendly environment. We are truly grateful for the warm hospitality and can’t wait to visit again!
