Everything was brand new. And super clean. The manager was really nice and pushing social projects in the area. I can really recommend the place. There is a beautiful skatepark around the corner if you are interested in such things.

This Hotel is a must while in mirissa! The staff were amazing nothing was too much trouble for them. The breakfast was good. Monkeys 🐒 come out in early evening to see you. We also met owners who even gave us a small gift to take home. Will definitely be back if in mirissa.

The room was spacious and clean, and I really liked the breakfast. Great view from the rooftop! The AC worked great. You can’t really swim on the beach behind the hotel, but Mirissa beach is not far at all.

I recently stayed at Swell Shacks for one night and had an amazing experience. The hotel was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The design of the hotel is simply stunning and perfectly complements the beautiful environment. I loved waking up to the sound of the ocean and having the beach right in front of our room. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The breakfast provided was delicious and offered a variety of options. The view from the hotel is absolutely stunning, offering breathtaking sights. I had such a wonderful time that I will definitely be coming back in the future. I highly recommend Swell Shacks for anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable stay. Perfect End to Our Sri Lanka Trip – Highly Recommended! After traveling around Sri Lanka for three weeks, we ended our holiday at this villa hotel, and it was truly amazing! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome. They were hospitable, attentive, always smiling, and eager to help with any request. A special shout-out to Leel and Roshan for making our stay extra special! The hotel itself was fantastic—clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. Lunch and dinner were also excellent, with a variety of well-priced and well-prepared dishes. The seafood platter was a highlight—huge, flavorful, and customizable to our preferences. I highly recommend trying it! The seating area and pool were perfect for relaxing, and the beautiful sandy beach was just a short walk away. One of the most memorable experiences was witnessing three turtles nesting at night and then seeing the government team collect the eggs in the morning. On our final day, we were lucky enough to watch baby turtles being released into the ocean—an unforgettable experience! If you're looking for a peaceful, relaxing getaway, this is the perfect place. From start to finish, we felt completely at ease and in holiday mode. We couldn’t find a single fault—highly recommended!
