Villa Taprobane is a family villa with a nice and quiet garden. The house is stunning, with a wooden roof, creating a cozy atmosphere. We stayed at the bigger room,top floor, very big, clean, with ceiling fan and a/c, and a cute balcony facing the garden. The area is quiet,a little bit out of Negombo, but at a walkable distance from a beach that ou can have a long walk,get the local taste of the place and enjoy the sunset (not really swimming there). The owners were super kind and super helpful, excellent service,delicious breakfast homemade and fresh. We spent our first and our last night of our trip,it felt like going back home and sharing experiences with relatives. They also kept our luggage and some valuable stuff we forgot accidently, they took care of us in order to rent a tuk tuk and generally provide all the necessary information 2 female travellers need. We definitely recommend it!

What a place to acclimatise from the UK into the Sri Lankan weather and pace of life. We stayed for two nights. From the very much appreciated complimentary pickup from the airport, to the happy friendly team lead by Nishantha Fernando delicious fresh and tasty Sri Lankan and European choices all cooked and seasoned beautifully. The gardens are kept immaculately and are beautiful for an early morning wander watching the birds, we enjoyed the pool which was a perfect temperature, I would not hesitate to recommend that you stay here.i believe that this villa has only come on to the hotel market but as the staff are all experienced we encountered no problems at all. Don’t hesitate if you’re wondering about booking as I am pleased I booked.

One bedroom villa was spacious and very clean. River view is second to none. Also this place is kids friendly and swimming pool is beautiful. Main highlight is dinner and breakfast. It’s very delicious. Highly recommend this place.

The lady was very nice and welcoming, as I was facing some issues in my travel, she tried to help. The dinner was also incredibly good, healthy and tasty. The neighbourhood is nice and quiet. Bed is very comfortable. I had a very good time there.

We truly appreciate your efforts in ensuring our stay was enjoyable. Furthermore, we can't stop raving about the delicious breakfast you prepared for us. Not only was it tasty, but it was also served in a charming setting that added to the experience. The villa's location was equally amazing. The proximity to the beach, just 100 meters away, was incredibly convenient. Being able to purchase fresh coconuts straight from the trees was a delightful treat. Additionally, the beach being sheltered by a breakwater meant there were no large waves, and the water was wonderfully warm. Once again, thank you for your outstanding hospitality and the wonderful stay. We will definitely return to experience this magical place again.
