I selected Ferney as it was the closest hotel available to the airport and the nature reserve looked beautiful. I was unfortunately only able to stay for one night and arrived very late so was not able to do any of the walks or activities although the looked very nice. Ferney was helpful in arranging a driver to collect me from the reception in a 4x4 to take me to the lodge at 9:30pm as my flight came in late. They served me the full dinner and spared no details which was well received. Dinner was smoked marlin starter, amazing venison steak with mashed potatoes, veg and salad with brownie and coconut ice-cream. The bed was very comfortable, air conditioning appreciated, and there was absolute silence because of the remote nature of the property. Breakfast had a lovely spread of fresh fruit, yogurt, cold meats, cheese, jams and toast. You get an individual basket of two freshly baked croissants and pain au chocolate. Eggs of your choice were made to order. In my tiny time there, without venturing at all, I saw manycbirds, a rabbit and a mongoose. All staff were very pleasant, friendly, and went the extra mile. It is not the typical Mauritian beach holiday but a nevertheless wonderful, nature-filled experience.

The place is very comfortable and the mother is very affectionate, friendly, very nice and very generous... She gave us a beautiful and delicious cake for free and also gave us a free lunch... We stayed only one night... I will never forget tonight... 😍😍

Very kind and freindly host, We arrived a little early, and he set up a sitting for us until our apartment was ready and offered water. He would regularly inquire about our day activities and assist us in making plans for the next day. Having heard about my minor accident, he offers to fix my car. Its 3 bedrooms spacious apartment having each room a balcony with beautifull view, kitchen with all the equipment you might possibly need, spacious bathroom with an ironing board and a washing machine. Easy access from the airport, located in a quiet neighbourhood. Given the facilities and the hospitality of the host, it is unquestionably an excellent value for the money. We definitely enjoyed our stay and felt right at home, and I will definitely recommend it to my friends and family. Special thanks for the parking (despite the fact that it wasn't listed in the reservation) and the tree mangoes that you gave us. Just a suggestion that guest should be provided the Google Map position and that there be some sort of sign put up on the property. Relaxing friendly always extremely helpful.We extended our stay because it was close to museum and walking distance to a lot. Close to public transport. Good health fresh breakfast . We discussed feedback with them and they were very happy. We much enjoyed our quiet but convenient stays before and after cycling around Muaritius
