Such a lovely new place that just opened a few weeks ago. It was even better than the pictures made it look. The host and staff were very kind, the breakfast fresh and tasty and the pool is cute for a quick dip to cool off on the heat. We would definitely come back!

Really beautiful hotel, very stylishly designed. Loved the tall ceilings. Everything worked well and was good quality. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Location is perfect and they try to save you some street parking that they have under video surveillance, which is a nice touch!

The property is absolutely beautiful and the rooms are spacious and well facilitated. It is bright, cool, and the restaurant, bar and pool are lovely. The staff provided the best service we’ve had on our holiday and went out of their way to fulfill every request- we had many as we were not well organised upon our arrival.

Carlos and the team at Casona Origen Merida are top tier. We were provided with a list of recommendations for things to do in and around Merida before our arrival. The staff were readily available and the brekky is delish. Carlos also went above and beyond helping me with a DHL delivery for things I forgot at accommodation in another city. Absolutely loved this boutique hotel and would stay again. The rooms are beautifully designed and spacious. There are two lush pools and the greenery in the garden make it really peaceful 10/10

    The hotel is a pleasant and relaxing place to stay. Much of this is due to the staff who are all welcoming, cheerful and helpful. The hotel is in a great area of the city where there are many places to eat and shop; and it is easy to walk to parks and just relax. There were several families with small children staying at the hotel, so this is a family friendly place and should be your place if you come to Merida.

    It is a small family hotel, super comfy. The owners are very friendly and just make you feel like you're visiting your family. The hotel is located just in the center of Merida, 10 minutes walking to all the sights. I personally loved the interior: very modern but with Mexican touch.
