CanadaBeing able to cool off in the pools was great! We loved the private, semi-outdoor showers + having AC was a bonus too. The whole place is set up so nice! The complimentary breakfasts were always delicious and the pizzas at the restaurant at night were really good too! Luis, the concierge was friendly and helpful!

CanadaThe location is secluded and private except it is an area in expansion so there was some construction noise (more reason, if you need reason to spend the day at the BEAUTIFUL beach). *clearly not a forever issue. Cafe was provided and there is a working kitchen. We loved our terrace and dip pool- great nature and bird watching!

NetherlandsZazil retreat is situated on a magical location. The room was amazing and the views were stunning. In the evening you can hear only the sound of the ocean. The breakfast was simple but very tasty. This accommodation exceeded my expectations and I wish I could have stayed there longer!

CanadaOur palapa was just in front of the beach with nothing but the ocean to watch from our terrace all day. Olimpia and the staff are absolutely lovely people. They treated us excellent and Carlos and Alejandro from the kitchen were even sweet enough to make special little things for our one-and-a-half-year-old baby boy. We recommend Cabañas Punta Placer all the way!

United KingdomIt was perfect - beautifully designed, tranquil, elegant, with wonderful host Allan to tend to our every whim. Breakfast was delicious, the showers were perfect, secluded, beautiful garden, romantic, comfortable, beautiful sea views with sunset from our balcony and the sound of crashing waves at night. Our favourite stay by far during our month long travels through Mexico. Short walk to a quiet beach and tucked away from the main strip of Mazunte but still within walking distance. Get the sea view room, you won’t regret it.

Our cabańa was right on the beach and had everything we needed. The staff were wonderful and friendly and we loved the way they worked so well together with fun and enjoyment. Food was great, freshly cooked using as many local in-season ingredients as possible. Menu changed daily with specials using local seafood. The beach right in front had red flags but you could still safely get in, submerse and bob around in the shallow surf and have fun without going out deep. It was such a cute, brand-new property a very short walk into San Agustinillo. The semi-outdoor shower (with hot water and great water pressure!) was amazing as was the very comfortable bed. The pools were fun and the staff was very nice. I didn’t get a chance to try the breakfast, but the chef of the pizza restaurant attached to the hotel is a well-known pizza chef formerly of La Termita (which I loved before they sadly closed).
