- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 172 reviewsPerfect little gem, we would go back anytime, the owners are so friendly and helpful, the outside area is amazing, you see monkeys from the terrace almost every day. We loved this place! Make sure you hire a car from Kuching, not only to get to Nanga Damai but also to explore the area, it's worth it and driving is easy, not much traffic at all. If you are fit and like hiking, Mount Santubong is waiting for you :) and the "Blue Pool" is a nice loop, as well. Kuching Wetlands by boat is fun and there's a lot more! Now we had a family reunion with 2nd generation kids of my older brother n sister, excepting we like them to experience the beach the location. It was just fine like 3/5 stars. Clean and in good condition. The bed was good, there was a kettle, fridge and nespresso, full functioning bathroom, and a balcony overlooking the sea. Food from the nearby Feeding Tree was good and not overpriced. I guess the other options for food would be the next resort, which has at least one bar, and some food stalls (and a 7-11) near the Cultural Village and within walking distance.
