Great Lodge for a stop on the way south. We did a game drive and saw an amazing number of animals. Fantastic buffet dinner! The room had a heater which was so appreciated as the nights were cold!

Andrea the host/owner was excellent. We kept in touch on WhatsApp before arriving. I provided them the ETA and she was ready when we arrived at the location. We were there for a single night and just went out for a meal. It is a beautiful house with all modern appliances and a fantastic braai.

The place is new, so everything was super clean. The rooms are cosy and beautiful. It's unfortunate that we only spent one night there. Should I find myself overnighting in Mariental, Cosy Nook will be my preferred place to stay. Also, the hosts were super amazing! Bless their wonderful souls. Magnificent place, peaceful and quiet, it seems to be out of the world. Very kind, friendly and helpful hosts. Magnificent pitch facilities. Private toilet with shower and external shower station with hot shower. Possibility of purchasing primary necessities at the company shop. Easily accessible from the nearby town. Beautiful walk in the surrounding area up to the canyon.

We were more than thrilled with our accommodation here. It was a unique experience. We spontaneously booked the Sundowner Tour, and we were absolutely delighted with it. Thanks to our guides, we were able to see so many animals here (giraffes, zebras, springbok, ...). The entire team was incredibly attentive. We will definitely come back. 110% recommendation!
