Campsites offer shade and are surprisingly private nonetheless. Opportunity to admire wildlife and eat at nearby Lodge and close to Sossusvlei Park entrance and canyon. Great for families! Is has beautiful cottages, with plenty of storage space behind the bed/in the bathroom. The shower is great and my kids loved the pool. But what sets apart this accommodation is the possibility to have breakfast and dinner at the Sossusvlei lodge, which is always good and definitely a highlight. It's a beautiful lodge right in the middle of the desert, with a waterhole right outside which attracts all kinds of animals, including a family of rhinos which was there to greet us when we arrived. We did a guided game drive one evening which was fantastic, and the staff gave us a very warm welcome. The chef is also excellent, and we enjoyed our evening meals there.
