This family of artists are simply wonderful; they went out of their way to make my stay as a solo traveller more enjoyable, introducing me to the fruits i brought in the local town and even showing me some ancient stone carvings in their local woodland. The accommodation offers excellent value for money and i enjoyed a wonderful ceramics lesson with a master ceramicist. Here you can enjoy an authentic Nicaraguan experience in terms of the surrounding environment whilst feeling safe, and knowing your hosts are trying to improve their local environment. Fall asleep listening to sounds of the forest and wake up to watch monkeys in the trees.

The location right on the water is fantastic. Our dorm was open with great bunks. You could sit up on the lower bunk with plenty of room to spare. The included breakfast always had fresh fruit and was quite ample. Staff organized social events were nice. I would definitely recommend this property.
