Best glutenfree breakfast I ever had ! Excellent bed and facilities. More important, the location is great, walking distance to the center to see the Planetarium, many different restaurants and coffee places. The town has beautiful architecture and pitoresque houses. The canals are absolutely charming.

Nice, clean and spacious room, comfy beds, sofa to relax, fridge in the room. Free coffee and tea. A lot of space in the room for a child bed. Cannot say much about neighbourhood as we were staying just overnight, but Harlingen city center is very nice :)

    Tjarda was a great hostess and super helpful. We loved the Fries vibe and the BnB was amazing. We travel quite a bit- but this was one of the best. Close to bnb is a lovely restaurant. Very reasonable and super staff Albert Heijn supermarket close. Franeker is duch a sweet and still ‘functional’ town- not a tourist trap. Loved this visit! Thanks

    The breakfast was exceptional. Continental style with a remarkably varied choice of bread/sweetbreads, boiled egg, yogurt, cheese, etc. The hotel has a very good cafe/restaurant on the ground floor where we enjoyed a late dinner and lunch the next day. Our family had two rooms which were both spacious, very comfortable, and looked recently renovated.
