The location was great. The cabin was well set up and very nice. Very clean, great shower, kitchen well set up. Staff where friendly and helpful. We only stayed one night but will come back for an extended stay in the future.

Helen is a wonderful, welcoming host. The house is in a good location near Arthur's Pass and makes a great stop if you're driving cross country. We opted to include the dinner and breakfast and both were delicious. The common area and bathroom is shared with another room/visitors and we were lucky to have very enjoyable company so it felt like reliving the old hostel days as an adult 😀

Very clean and lovely hostel. Friendly owners. Cosy atmosphere. Would recommend to stay at least couple of nights & explore the amazing nature around.

Built in 1865 and restored in 1902, Otira Stagecoach Hotel is situated in the heart of the Arthur's Pass National Park. It offers antiques throughout as well as stagecoaches and horse wagons outside.

Amazing, personal place where one is well treated. They have nice infra red sauna and massage chair. I enjoyed both twice on two days stay. Furniture is and all other staff around is so great.

Great location, wonderful nature ambiance, there's even a nice waterfall hike and glowworms at the property. It's very calm, the Kiwi room was very comfy (and near the bathrooms so no long walks in the cold to the shower 😉). The amenities were nearby and offered everything we needed, and there is even a small shop at the reception for your basic needs. Our only regret is that we didn't book another night here as well.
