We also enjoyed interacting with the lovely family of pūkeko resident in the wetland just next to the motel. They got all our left over food when we checked out. Beds with electric blankets were comfortable 10/10., The space felt spacious 1 adult, 3 teenagers. Heat pump and TV were great for cooler season. The outdoor area through sliding doors was nice and gave privacy. Full functioning kitchen space with oven was useful.
